In case you missed it...
With all that is going on in the world, this month's J2E space was dedicated to discussions around recent events in the community connected to gun violence, but also anything heavy on your mind, hearts and thoughts.

J2E is a FREE safe space that welcomes all with the intention of having open dialogue around topics that are often taboo, such as gun violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, LGBTQ+ issues, parenting, and mental health.

Every 1st Friday of the month! To receive notifications on the next one, please contact:

Meet a few of our Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander Administrators in the district! During our Annual Administrators' Institute that took place the last week of July, we held affinity spaces and one was the Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander Affinity Space where we were able to conduct deeper dive discussions around district vision and goals for this upcoming year!
On July 20th, many had a chance to attend Samoan Community Development Center's 26th anniversary of the Pacific Islander Youth Alliance end of summer program showcase!

180+ youth participated this summer, and were able to showcase all they have learned throughout the summer connected to identity, culture and arts!

In case you missed it, click on the link below to watch the showcase! Showcase starts at 10:45:00 on video.
