Children must be at least 3 years old on or before December 1 of the academic year in which they wish to enroll.

Summer 2024 | Highlights
High School Students doing hands-on learning as part of the 1st Cohort of TAUTUA Summer Intensive Internship Program lead by Herbert "Coach Wylie" Ilalio, NH&PI Coordinator in Office of Access & Equity. This internship includes students working closely with experts from career trades such as Electrical, Painting, HVAC, Plumbing, Computer Programming/Game Design, Flooring, Violence Prevention and Career in Education. 
SALT's Tongans Rise Up shares photo of students taking advantage of the free Tauolunga Dance Class choreographic and taught by Falikipa'ame Kaio from Ako Legacy. This is the first of many Tongan dance classes offered in San Francisco. These photos shows their dance practice and their dress rehearsal as the students prepare for their end of summer showcase.
Samoan Community Development Center's launching their 28th Pacific Islander Youth Alliance Summer Program! 325+ Elementary, Middle and High School students learning cultural dance, song, art, media art classes through out the summer!
Tongan Language class virtual class wraps up their last class this week. Students learned the Tongan language basics, alphabets, pronunciation and conversational sentences online with Instructors Asipesionau Finau and Mona Palu. 
July 18 & 19, the Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander Educators Collective launched their 1st Symposium that gathered 150+ Pacific Islanders within California who work in Public Education - envisioning the advancement of NH&PI Educators & Professionals in Higher Education! SFUSD Special Assistant to Superintendent, Ursula Siataga was on one of the panels sharing her academic journey and how her leadership position in Public Education was created by the community advocacy in policy change and the importance of the collective! https://lbccfoundation.org/membership/
San Francisco raises the American Samoa and Samoa flag to acknowledge and declare this week as Samoan Heritage Week! Mayor London Breed shares city commitment to the diversity of SF and supporting Pacific Islander community! Mayor Breed also lite up City Hall with Red and Blue lights to show colors of Samoa flags! 
Summer 2024 | Upcoming Community Events & Resources
Click button below to watch the 28th Annual Summer Performance Celebration of Samoan Community Development Center's Pacific Islander Youth Alliance! It will go live stream Thursday, August 1st at 2pm.
End of Summer Celebration on Saturday, August 3rd. This event will showcase and acknowledge students from four summer programs in partnership with various organizations. 
SF Samoan Flag Day is back! Saturday, August 3rd at 10am at Presidio of San Francisco Main Parade Lawn! Check out the line up!
August 9th is the final summer Nesian Night Market! Support Pasefika Boss Up Youth as they showcase their cool businesses on-site! Bring the family out to support vendors with delicious food, music, fun and merch! 
Saturday, August 17 at 11am in Gilman Park in San Francisco is the All My Usos Family Day in Memory of Jaytee Mauia! Free resources, entertainment, jumpers, food, face painting, haircuts, stem activities, school supplies and so much more!
