Sept 3rd-Sept 9th was a week that honors Tongan Language! Many people and organizations globally took part in sharing and celebrating Tongan Language that week including holding events, teachings, honoring Tongan Culture and showcasing many social media campaigns all week! Great job! Did you know, San Francisco has a Tongan non-profit organization called SF Tongans Rise Up, who offers Tongan Language courses for Middle/High School SFUSD students? For more information, check out their website. www.sf-tru.org |
